Profile

Fred is the Chair of the Membership Development Committee of the International Fiscal Association Mauritius Branch. He is also currently serving a Mauritius-based financial services company as research and innovation manager.

Fred has extensive all-round experience in the field of tax consultancy, finance, auditing, and business advisory services. He has worked in public practice and in commerce and industry, and has been at the service of multinationals as well as SMEs, serving in locations as diverse as Mauritius, the African continent, Asia, and Australia.  Fred regularly authors articles on a broad range of topics including corporate finance, cross-border taxation, financial technology, AML/CFT issues, ESG policies, employment policies, as well as the latest legislative, regulatory and international developments in those fields.

In addition to being a member of the International Fiscal Association for several years, Fred is also a member of CPA Australia, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants. Fred holds a BA degree in Economic and Social Studies as well as a Master of Business Administration degree.
