Membership Information
The achievements of IFA are attributable to its actively involved representatives from both the private and the public sectors. There are many reasons to join IFA.
When you become a member, you become part of a dynamic, independent network of international tax advisors, government officials, academics and other tax experts, a network that stays on top of current developments. As a non-profit organisation and the only network of its kind, IFA provides a neutral platform where all representatives can meet and discuss international tax issues at the highest level. IFA offers you the opportunity to participate and discuss, enriching both your knowledge and building your international network.
Individual members enjoy these benefits:
- One set of the annual publications (“Cahiers de Droit Fiscal International” in book form) containing the General reports on the main subjects to be discussed at the Congress, and all Branch reports in digital format;
- One copy of the Congress invitation program;
- Possibility to participate in Branch and Regional activities.
Corporate members enjoy these benefits:
- Two sets of the annual publications (“Cahiers de Droit Fiscal International” in book form) containing the General reports on the main subjects to be discussed at the Congress and all Branch reports in digital format;
- Two copies of the Congress invitation program;
- Possibility to participate in Branch and Regional activities.
How to become a member?
Joining IFA entitles you to become part of the world’s independent fiscal network and is simple to do through one of the following options:
- Through affiliation with an IFA Branch in your country;
- Through direct membership with the IFA General Secretariat in the case an IFA Branch has not yet been established in your country.
IFA is close to you: the great majority of IFA membership is organised in Branches established in 71 tax jurisdictions world-wide so to apply for membership please contact the IFA Branch in your country; they have all the information regarding membership and annual membership rates.
Applications for a membership in countries where there is no IFA Branch should be made to the General Secretariat accompanied by a recommendation from two members of the Association.
Upon notification and nomination by the IFA Branches, applicants for membership are registered in Central IFA’s membership administration. New members are officially admitted during the next Annual Congress.
The General Secretariat coordinates the Association’s administrative. For further information, please send an e-mail to Oudai Mohun: oudai.mohun@ifamauritius.org
