Profile

Roomesh is currently the Secretary of the International Fiscal Association Mauritius Branch. He has been a member of the Association since 2009  and was elected executive member since 2016. He was the treasurer in 2019 prior to his appointment as Secretary. He is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant and a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountant, holds a Master In Business Administration from the University of Mauritius and also the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from the UK.

He has developed in-depth knowledge of the Mauritius and International taxation as he has been in employment with the Mauritius Revenue Authority prior to joining  the Industry. He has been involved in company and Fund set-ups and structuring and has been exposed to various aspects of the global business industry including legal, tax, accounting, administration among others. He has also been engaged in tax litigation and assisting clients with the investigation carried out by the Fiscal Authority in Mauritius.
